Last week, I shipped this bed to St. Paul, Minnesota!

Hughes thought he would try it out for size!

A Little Glam

Good Morning!

Just wanted to show off my sweet cousin, "Weese".

Well, actually her name is Alise.

Hughes thinks has his "a" a little confused with the "w" sound.

Girls are so much fun!

I thought she needed pigtails and curls...But Alise is getting to be a big girl.

Her birthday is Thursday!

Alise will be 13!  Can you believe it?

Aunt Diane, Alise, and Aunt Laura (Alise's Mom)

------------------------------------------

Here is Jenny Kate and Garrett!

Are they not adorable?

I used to babysit Garrett!

Yes.  Like, Garrett was a baby like Wiley's age!

Garrett has a big brother, Clayton.

I also "met" Clayton.  Didn't even recognize him!  He is in high school.  He is a looker.

Girls are probably lining up at his door!

I MIGHT have mentioned keeping him when he wore diapers.

He MIGHT have walked away very soon after that comment.

I am soo not cool to these high schoolers! :)

These sweet children are getting to be so big.

And I am getting so old!

Cayce and I used to have so much fun bebopping from Christi and Joe's house to Marla and Michael's house keeping their sweet children!
Mostly, we just hung out with them...keeping their boys or not! :)

Jenny Kate is also part of our family!

We don't get together with them as much as we should!

They are a sweet fun little couple!

Alise looked gorgeous!

ALL OF THE GIRLS looked amazing!

I wish I would have gotten a picture of all of the girls!

ops...found one!

We love you Alise!

Happy Birthday Week!

Fall and Football

Just wanted to share some real photos of our family and a smidge of advice for football games.

Lessons I have learned the hardway...all last weekend...might I add.

Double Strollers are super great...super WIDE...but super great!

There is no sense in getting in ANY RUSH to get anywhere on game day.

Just enjoy the people and energy!

Wear good...and by good I mean comfortable...shoes.

Let your husband push the stroller.

Hughes is sitting with Big Daddy and Wiley is sitting with Ma'Lyn.

Wiley decided to sit with the girls for a bit!  Jane and Abby took good care of him!

Hughes slept the first and second quarter!

Which you would think is odd...with all the noise and all.

However, I sleep better with lots of noise too!

But then again.  I can fall asleep anywhere.

I just love this picture.  How cute is this couple?  They have sat in front of us as long as I have been around.

Adorable.

Check out these awesome shirts!

Marietta made them for Hughes and Wiley!

A gummy grin from Wiley!

He might have enjoyed the game more than any of us!

Hughes is double fisting his cookies!

We had a great time.

I did learn something pretty important when it comes to tailgating:

Folks don't really eat casseroles.

They prefer something they can pick up with their hands.

Something where a fork and plate is not going to be the hit.

Just sayin'

From now on, I will be sticking with the sausage balls, cookies, bbq sliders, etc.

Do you have any good tailgate recipes?

Would love to try something new...

even though you can't get a much hotter item than chicken nuggets or strips!

Children and adults both gobble them up!

Happy Fall Everyone!
