The Playground

Hughes and I took a little trip to the park yesterday.  

We think we may have found our treasure for this Spring and Summer!

I loved showing Hughes all of the "old school" playground "equipment".

Good 'ole see saws as long as the Mississippi.

Slides as high as water towers.

Merry-Go-Rounds that squeak and wobble as they go around and around.

These are the good ole days.

Snoozing and Sneaking

I snuck in the boys room Sunday afternoon.

After church and lunch, it was time for a snooze.

Ironing and Napping

So, as many of you know, I am making bedding for the boys bedroom!

Truly, I have having way too much fun with it!

Sooo much of sewing is ironing.  

And ironing is what I did today.  

I have finally finished the ironing portion of this project!  

.....hmmmm

Wondering if Bim should get into making some bedding in the future?

....another thought for another day...

The fabric in the below pictures will be the underside of the duvet coverlets.

This past Saturday, I took a photography class by Allison Muirhead!

I learned so very much!

Since I vowed to never use my green button again, this class will come in very very handy!

Allison told us to Practice, Practice, Practice. 

That is what I intend to do!

Much improvement needed, but I do really like the lighting and focus on the last photo!
