Twelve Tidbits: One

NUMBER ONE

The first tidbit of the twelve is this bad boy!

MoroccanOil

MoroccanOil is Pure Argon (nut from Morocco) Oil Treatment for your hair.

Twelve Tidbits

This past weekend Jeanine, Brandy, Maggie and I went to

Sandestin for a little girls-catch-up-vacay!



We had the best time!

Whenever I am around these ladies for a period of time, I realize how out of the style/fashion loop I REALLY am these days.

So, I decided to ask the girls 10-12 tips they had and used on a regular basis.

I took mental notes and decided to share with you all.

Starting tomorrow I will share with you a tidbit a day.

Every mom needs a little nudge in the right direction.

The tidbits may be a product, tip or current trend for FALL!

Clothes and shoes, well,

they speak to me.

We have conversations.

Usually arguing in my closet everyday when deciding what to wear.

The comfy loose clothes usually win the argument.

National Debt

If it is so easy to raise money for political campaigns, why then, doesn't the president hold a huge fundraiser for the national debt? 

Just in September of 2008, our president's campaign raised over $10 million dollars in private donors, within 24 hours of Sarah Palin's acceptance speech.

Therefore, why don't the same friendly "private donors" give towards the national debt.

Just pay down $10 million a day. 

Just like that day in September. 

All those giving people wanting to do good. 

Here's your chance. 

We'll just open up an online fundraiser and people can "privately" give towards the national debt. 

$10 million a day for just one year would equal $3,650,000,000

...since the national debt total is around $14,620,100,000,000. 

(I rounded down. While I was on the U.S. National Debt clock it changed probably every second...no joke...check it out for yourself... U.S. Debt Clock)

It would be a start.

This would, of course, be EXTRA on the payments that we are "already making". 

(yeah right)

I'm just sayin'...donations would help.

In addition, all of the campaign money that presidents "raise" will also go toward the debt.

Or, at least, there will be a cap on presidential campaigns...

While we are at it, let's just cap all forms of government campaigns.

Personally, I think we should get good ole' Dave Ramsey in office for Treasurer.

Disclaimer:  I do not intend to "act" like I know what I'm talking about.  Just gathering information that the media gives me and putting a little common sense to go with it to try to figure out some answers.  Nothing bothers me more than someone (media/government) bringing a problem to me without any options of how to fix it.  I'm not talking a million page write up either.  You worry with the logistics. Give me the big picture and an end result. Get busy. Babies are napping.  Got to get some washing done.

Wiley is 5 months!

Wiley is five months old!

Time has truly flown by!

He rolled over ... completely...getting that stubborn ole' arm out from under him...on his five month birthday.

Kent saw it with his own eyes.

I missed it...due to washing bottles.

But, I'm glad one of us got to watch the action!

No more sofa chillin' without Mommy or Daddy right beside him.

Wiley you are growing like a weed.

Wearing a range of 3-6 month clothes.

Running low on pj's that fit. 

Most of our 6 month pajamas have Santa Claus, snowmen, or are fleece or flannel.

Not really conducive to this August heat! :)

You and Hughes are watching Gnomeo and Juliet on Mommy and Daddy's bed right now.

You are wearing a size 2 diaper...soon to be 3.

You are eating about 6 oz. every three to four hours.

You slept in your own bed last night for the very first time.

From midnight to 4:30a.m.

But baby steps are okay.

I cried when Daddy told me you were moving to your bed.

I cried when I emptied out all of your newborn and 0-3 month clothes from your drawers today.

You get really tickled when we talk to you and snuggle your neck.

Your hair is starting to come out due to lots and lots of rolling around! :)

You are growing so big and strong.

We love you so much.
